New commercial construction will soon crop up in Nocatee.
Regeny Centers Corp. will break ground in November on a new retail building in Nocatee Town Center. Tenants that have already signed on to the project include Rainbow Pediatric Center, Re/Max Unlimited, Trompe L’oeil Salon and a UPS Store, the PARC Group, master developer of Nocatee, said Wednesday.
Regency’s project also includes space for a restaurant.
Silverfield Group and Morales Group will break ground in October on four 7,500-square-foot single-story office buildings.
The Business Journal first reported Silverfield's plans in early 2013.
As St. Johns County continues to dominate the region’s housing growth, it will entice more commercial development to the area.
There were 838 homes built in Nocatee in 2013, and nine new communites are slated to open this year. There are also plans in the works for a Daily’s convenience store, a Baptist Health medical building and a fire station.
