As you may know, Toll Brothers is a proud sponsor of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation™. This worthwhile organization shares the vision of its founder and creator, Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004) — a cure for all children with cancer. Alex was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer, just before her first birthday. When she was four years old, she told her parents she wanted to set up a lemonade stand. Her plan was to give the money to doctors to help them find a cure. Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation was started by her parents in 2005, the year after she died, to continue the work that Alex began. To date, the Foundation has raised more than $75 million towards fulfilling Alex’s dream of finding a cure, funding over 375 research projects nationally.
On Saturday, June 7, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm, we will be helping to make Alex’s dream come true, and you can be a part of it! We will be setting up a lemonade stand at Coastal Oaks Community and are looking for volunteers. Would you or your children like to help? If so, let us know by contacting Vernice Magiske at Vernice.email@example.com.
In addition to volunteering at our community lemonade stand, there are several ways in which you can help us fight the battle against childhood cancer! To make a credit card donation, please visit alexslemonade.org/campaign/toll-brothers. To make a cash or check donation, simply stop by our sales office.
