The natural preserve areas behind some residences, around ponds throughout Coastal Oaks are not to be altered. Management received reports from residents about mischievous, high risk and potentially harmful activity in the preserve areas by resident teens. Activities include building forts, clearing the natural growth, hammering items into trees, smoking and sitting around campfires (police report filed). I know all Coastal Oaks residents are aware of the natural dangers in these areas to include trees and tree limbs falling, snakes, rabid animals, unexpected wetlands. The combination of the natural dangers and added high risk, harmful behavior could be a perfect storm for a devastating and or life altering emergency in a flash. Please keep your family safe!
Enjoy your Sunday!
